Proto® Expands its Pneumatic Tool Offerings with Die Grinders

December 3, 2015

Material removal tools add to pneumatic tool offering.

CONYERS, GA (December 3, 2015) – Proto® Industrial Tools expands its pneumatic offerings with seven new 1/4" Die Grinders that feature multiple head types: straight, extended, 90 degree, and 120 degree.

Each of the Die Grinders features a rubber grip to help keep the user's hand isolated and protected from low temperatures as the unit gets cold from use. The speed control is located on the body of the tool and allows for tool-free adjustment, unlike some competitive units that require a screwdriver to adjust.

With both .3 and .5 heavy-duty horsepower motor options, the line offers solutions for a wide range of applications for multiple industries including fleet maintenance, oil & gas, metal fabrication, repair/maintenance, and light manufacturing. The Proto Die Grinders each feature a 360 degree rotating exhaust that allows the user to direct exhaust away from them.

Other design elements include a newly designed throttle that provides the user with precise speed control. Additionally, the precision collet provides for accurate material removal. Varying from 1 to 2 pounds, the low weight of each unit is also a factor that provides user-satisfaction.

Available where Proto products are sold now, the Die Grinders provide premium material removal and add to Proto's existing pneumatic line of impacts and ratchets.
